ARTIST DESCRIPTION:
KAMOS

KAMOS is an anonymous street artist actively engaged in the Japanese art scene. KAMOS is based in KAMOSHIKA VILLAGE, in the secluded mountainous region of Gifu Prefecture. This village is known for habitat to the Japanese Serow, an endangered species native to Japan, which resides quietly in the depths of its serene forests.

Through artistic endeavors, KAMOS contributes to the conservation of the Japanese Serow, using the platform to raise awareness about the endangered species. In addition to this noble cause, KAMOS has drawn a captivating manga art series featuring a young samurai Serow named KAMOS. The serialized story unfolds on KAMOS's Instagram account, where episodes of this unique narrative are shared.

KAMOS's manga art is notable for its satirical commentary on the conservative facets of Japanese society, particularly addressing attitudes toward change. The stories embedded in the artwork resonate globally, garnering attention and empathy from audiences around the world. Through the fusion of art and advocacy, KAMOS is making a significant impact on both the art community and the cause of Japanese Serow conservation.

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:
This delightful artwork exquisitely portrays "YAYOI," the younger sister of the emerging samurai character "KAMOS." YAYOI's depiction, set against a backdrop of charming floral patterns, is a wonderful fusion of femininity and youthful vitality. Unlike her brother KAMOS, who embodies a challenging theme, this piece captures the spirit of an active and vibrant young girl. YAYOI's face is masterfully depicted, highlighting her lively personality through her expressive eyes and a playful smile. The floral background not only enhances the visual appeal but also symbolizes the grace and natural beauty inherent in her character. This artwork offers a refreshing portrayal of YAYOI, contrasting with the more intense narrative surrounding her brother KAMOS, and adds a new dimension to their shared story.
